From humble beginnings working out of an Albury hardware store to opening our current premises in the mid-’70s to now, Country Framing has been providing framing services to Albury, Wodonga and surrounding suburbs for over 50 years. We are proudly the region’s longest established picture framer.

We work closely with our customers, adapting our expert knowledge and decades of experience to translate their needs into beautifully framed artworks. All framing is completed on-site by owner Bill Foot and our friendly consultations mean customers can take advantage of our space to choose their framing in a relaxed atmosphere. 

Conveniently located on the edge of Albury’s CBD, with ease of access and parking, we have a comprehensive range of high-quality moulding samples, matboards and glazing options for you to explore.

  • Our retail shop is conveniently situated on the edge of Albury’s CBD. You can find us at 666 Pemberton Street.

  • We are open weekdays from 9:30am to 5:00pm and Saturday mornings from 9:30am to 12:00pm. Other times can be made by appointment.

  • Yes, there is ample, unrestricted street parking available right out the front of our shop.

  • All work is carried out on the premises in our workshop by owner Bill Foot. This allows us to oversee your order from beginning to end and reduce unnecessary transportation or handling of your artwork.

  • The cost of framing can vary widely depending on the size of the item, the labour involved, the choice of frame and the addition of other materials such as mats, mounts and glass. The best way to receive an accurate quote is to visit us in-store with your item. Any quotes given over the phone will be estimates only.

  • We have hundreds of high-quality moulding samples in store for you to choose from in varying materials, styles, colours and thicknesses. Similarly, we have a wide variety of acid-free matboards in differing textures and colours as well as a range of glass options including regular, UV, anti-reflective and museum-quality that can protect your works. We will help guide you to find the most appropriate style for your artwork, personal taste and budget.

  • Our process from consultation to pick up usually takes two weeks at the longest. If you are in a hurry, please let us know as urgent orders are able to be accommodated depending on stock availability.

  • A 25% deposit is required on placement of your order with the remainder due upon pick up. We accept cash and have EFTPOS facilities available.

  • Yes. We offer local pick-up and delivery for a small fee. Our van allows us to transport large items safely, so please call to arrange if you require this service.

  • Yes, once we have assessed if your canvas is of suitable quality for stretching we professionally hand stretch your artworks using quality stretcher frames. We can also frame your canvas into a float frame to complete the look. Find more information on this service here.

  • You name it, we can frame it. Please see a full list of our framing expertise and services here.

  • We no longer offer a laminating service. We do however offer block mounting as a cost-effective framing alternative. Please see our full list of our framing expertise and services for more details.

  • Depending on the damage and makeup of the frame we can generally attend to the repair of old and new frames. Please bring the frame into our shop for assessment.

  • Yes, we're happy to help reframe your item in your existing frame. Please bring the original frame in with you so we can ensure the measurements are accurate.
